Yes I agree the integrated systems are faster and preferable. In the OP's case paying over $800 for motec to unlock a video option might not be the best ROI here. This method will work fine. As you know by now, I like free workarounds until AIM gives us all this in rsa3...maybe?

You get a tremendous amount more flexibility with the Pro Logging upgrade for the MoTeC than just video addition, but I hear you.

If I used that argument every time I wanted to buy something for the car or myself, I'd never have money for tires.
