Default SoCal Practical Data Analysis Work Shop

The verbiage below is off a recent AiM flyer. We are working with Roger Caddell to develop a unique flyer for this event. If you are somewhat of a novice to data logging, suggest acquiring and reading Making Sense of Squiggly Lines, by Chris Brown. Available directly from Chris at www.cb-racing.com/book Or, purchase from Amazon.com

The core principle of all AiM Sports LearnFasttm data training is to reveal that data acquisition will allow the user to determine what the vehicle is doing, when it is doing it and why it is doing it while using AiM Sports hardware and software.

This AiM Sports LearnFasttm data seminar has been designed to be very interactive with real examples of actual racing data. This seminar is not just a lecture, AiM Sports National Training Manager Roger Caddell invites questions and comments from attendees and has found that group discussion helps everybody understand the information being delivered more fully.
Seminar will cover:
• What is Data Acquisition
• Why Use Data Acquisition
• How to Use Data Acquisition
• Data Hardware and Installation
• Introducing the Race Studio Software
• Practical Data Analysis
• SmartyCam HD Video

Default Seminar Registration SoCal

It is going up on www.motorsportsReg.com very soon, hopefully today the 5th of January.

This is the first "official" SoCal AiM seminar that I recall seeing in many years, if ever.

Default The Flyer

Don't lag, only 35 slots. In addition to Roger Caddell's presentation, there will be/may be two (2) surprise mystery guests, one a Pro-driver and the other an automotive engineer.

Default MotorsportReg is up for Seminar Registration

See: http://www.motorsportreg.com/events/aim-sports-basic-advanced-data-seminar-template-vision-motorsports-035237#.Vo6NzjahmSV

Note all the current AiM offerings will be on display, and a discount for attendees if the purchase AiM gear within 15 days of the seminar. In addition, Chris Brown, author of Making Sense of Squiggly Lines will be there with his book. Also, we are expecting a visit from Pro-driver Craig Stanton.

I can't recall an AiM Practical Data Analysis Seminar being offered in SoCal in recent, that would be far distant, memory.

Default It's filling up

25 Entries as of 1/12/16 Hoping this response will encourage Roger Caddell and AiM to do more SoCal seminars...hopefully one early in January next year we can couple an Advanced Seminar to the Practical Seminar.

It appears there are a few spots left for folks looking for something to do today. There are also a number of race cars, engines, etc. on display in the shop.

Cheers,

Default Seminar completed...

Roger Caddell, AiM's National Training Manager, puts on a very interesting seminar, and fields questions on the fly. If you have the opportunity to attend Roger's Practical Stage 1 seminar, or his Advanced Seminar, don't miss it.

28 people showed up, in addition we had Ellen Ferguson from Veracity Racing Data there to show off her AiM line. Pre-seminar, breaks, lunch and post seminar, Ellen seemed very busy. Her business is located ion Paso Robles, CA. She must have left home about 4:00 AM to make the seminar. Thanks Ellen!

Dwain Dement, owner of Vision Motorsports in Laguna Hills was our host. We were all very impressed with the shop, and the projects in progress.
