Can't explain all of them, but we did some things with dash lights at different speeds to indicate minimum speeds in corners, full throttle lights, and more. The other stuff took some cool logic to make work, but was very powerful.

Seriously, you need to have a VERY specific goal, a particular performance parameter above (or below) a particular threshold or specific "test" you want to do to set these up to be more than Christmas tree lights on the dash...

These are ideal indicators for test days and practice, but most are not things I would want to run in the race. Most drivers, even pros, have limited intake capability when the track gets crowded...
