Analog channels over CAN for SoloDL

Analog channels over CAN for SoloDL
Is a Solo DL able to utilize analog sensor data from some form of CANbus analog input module?
Effectively, instead of (or in addition to) getting the data from the ECU; the Solo DL would get the data from the CAN bus as programmed for the CAN A/D module.
This is for a low budget situation wherein the race car does not have an ECU with all the desired analog inputs. We are only looking for the basics like Oil presure, oil temp, Cooland temp, and fuel level.
Suggestions or thoughts?

For E36 M3, I like Andy Pettits Clownshoe Motorsports OBDII-CAN converter.
ASL’s AnalogX, AEM’s ADC and others are all capable.
It’s a giant PITA.

dbbarron would not have any trouble doing this with the S2DL. The best value to do it with a S2DL is the CANchecked MCE18. Anything linear is very easy. Some non-linear sensors are tougher. The hardest one I did(n't) do was gear position with a sensor that varied voltage a decent amount. In the end when you figure out time and materials, it's a better deal to sell your SDL or S2DL and buy an MXm. Faster, easier, and not much more money in the end.
