Default help!? old school smarty cam help needed.

Hello all!

I could use some help.

I figured out how to download data from my AIM Pista dash but I cant figure out how to watch video from my Smarty cam.

When I insert the SD card into my laptop, nothing happens. It makes the sounds that it recognizes something was insterted but nothing else happenes when I put the card in. After that, I open Race Studio 2, and click import smarty cam data, an error pops up saying there is no data to save.

My old solo and smarty cam was so easy to use, im really sturuggling with the new (old) set up in my car.

please help?!

What is an "old school" Smartycam"? If it is a Gen 1 non-HD camera, simply insert your SD card into your laptop and transfer the videos from the SD card to your computer. You do not have to import the Smartycam data since you already downloaded the data from your AIM Pista.

ok, yes, I have the gen 1 camera.

I serached after putting the card in and found the video clips of different sessions.

I now realize the video has the overlay already! I thought I had to transfer the video to racestudio, but that doesnt seem to be the case.

I think im good to go and looks like I was over thinking this whole thing.

Thank you for your response!
