Default Smarty Cam wind noise.

I’ve read some previous threads on this, but didn’t see a definite solution. I purchased the mic adapter and hid the mic behind a panel in the back seat area. Sound is muffled but I still hear wind noise and I wonder how that is possible. I have turned the interior mic settings all the way down, but could it still be on?

Any good solution?

I cover the internal mic with these - Rycote Micro Windjammers for On Board Camera and Mobile Phone Microphones, with 30 Stickies and 6 Re-usable Fur Covers - that I found on Amazon. Probably many other brands make these for cameras.

Good luck.
