RS3 - how to see predictive lap times
Hello,
is there a way in RS2 or RS3 to see the predictive lap time for each lap you ran?
Much appreciated.
Thanks
Ross

Predictive lap times are usually shown on the display of the Solo 2 DL. Under the page setup, you can add a field (area with numbers) for either PredT (Predicted Lap Time) or +/- (time gained or lost). After adding those fields, select Transmit to send the changes back to the Solo 2 DL. I like +/-, because it's a finer measure and you can tell what works and what doesn't quicker than with PredT.

Make a math channel in your config that is a simple operation. Make it predictive time + constant (0). Make sure it's set to save and you should have the info in your data. You can do it with a linear corrector math channel were x=1 and b=0.

I am a bit confused... granted im still very new to RS2/RS3, and am going to work with Jon Goring to get coaching...
But in the below, this was a session at LRP. Id like to see a column that shows my predicted time for each of the laps. I.e. on my reference lap, what was my predicted... 00:56.00?
or does AiM not calculate this?

That is the lap window. You can not calculate predictive lap time after the fact, so you have to create the channel in the dash. Then you could display it in a channel report.

That does. Things have changed since the original post. There is an option when connected to a device to log the predictive lap time. With the new cameras, you can also just select predictive to put on the video without having to do anything special.
What device and camera do you have?

Can the smartycam record the + or - on the overlay?

With the 2.1 it can, but you have to assign it to another function in the camera in the SmartyCam tab. Don't use a pressure.
