Hi, I’ve been running this set up (water temp only) along with an exp box for brake/throttle sensors.

I decided to fit an egt sensor & it’s showing up on the Mychron along with the water temp all fine.

I’ve noticed though, the egt which I set up in the Smartycam config in RS3 is not showing a reading on the SmartyCam live view or video?

silly question perhaps but kart sitting on the stand my Mychron is reading both temps at water 8*c & egt 10*c, Smartycam has nothing showing for egt on live view & I’m just wondering why it’s not showing the egt reading?

I’m not in a position to fire her up yet but do we reckon this might be all that’s required to get a reading at the Smartycam?

I'm not too strong with Mychron units. If you have set the EGT correctly in the SCHD overlay, I believe it should be there. Maybe give the guys a call and I'm sure they can help. East Coast is 540.342.9680

Thanks Matt, I’ve noticed the latest firmware on RS3 for the SCHD is :Ver. 01.04.52

in the Aim site it’s: Ver. 01.04.46

Any idea which is the correct update?

I'd go by RS3. The eeb person is probably behind.

I’ve removed the exp box from the system & now I just have the M5 (water/egt sensors) & SCHD lead connected to it.

in the M5 live measures the egt is showing as temp 1? , the water is indeed the water temp.

in the SC live measures, the water temp is there but no egt or temp 1 as it showed in the M5 live measures?

the config all looks ok with the temps labelled as water & egt.

Any ideas?

could it be the lead from the SC to the M5?
