Not to miss the trend of Black Friday Deals - I'm throwing these out there -
- Use coupon TPMS to get 15% off a TPMS system.
- Buy any dash/logger and get a free TPMS
- Buy any PDM and get a free TPMS
- Email me for a deal on a complete IR tire temp system
- Let me know what you want that doesn't fit the above and we'll figure something out!

Have really enjoyed and benefited from the TPMS system (Matt put together in a nice one stop bundle) I added into my Aim set up this year. Having TPMS data in the MXL 2 display when on out laps and pushing (in realtime) is helpful and when added to graph data post analysis is insightful. At such a low cost to entry, why wait, get some today! Still learning.
Matt helped a lot with answering questions, highly recommended for track cars that do not have this data or have it easily accessible (buried in OEM dash display warnings).

Which dash? If it's a current RS3 programmed dash, both will work. Honestly, I think the TPMS is more useful for many people. The data is easier to understand and make action plans from. It's also cheaper and easier to put on the car. The same ideas you use when you take your tire pressure in pit road is presented in the data, but you get the benefit of being able to compare it to G forces, seeing how long the tires take to come up to pressure, how fast they drop down, and you don't need anyone on pit lane to help!

On the ECU CAN. No CAN2 on the MXm.

The MXm only has 1 CAN, so it's labeled as ECU. If you are not using it with your ECU, you can use it for the TPMS. If you are using it for the ECU, you may be able to put the TPMS with it, but it's very dependent on the car.
The TPMS is $225 before the sale. It's only $180 with the discount. A killer deal IMHO.

I am currently getting the RPM from the ECU on that line. Does that mean I can't use this TPMS? For $180 I am willing to do it, heck I mean using it as insurance in case a tire goes down right

Do you have RPM connection or an ECU connection? What car is it installed in? If you are just using the RPM connection, you can put the TPMS on CAN easily.

I think that line is from the ecu as I can get rpm and water temp from it? I believe it is the ecu k line. I didn’t touch the fan + and -. Does that help? Does that work?
this is on a 98 box

It sounds like you are using this connection for the k line. Boxster data is usually pretty slow, but that could be what you have. If you can send your config or post a screen shot, we can figure out for sure. Feel free to give me a call and I'll walk you through checking.

For rpm it seems to be okay as I use the same line for my shift light. Water temp does update once every 5 or 10 sec, but I think it should be okay for what I do. The can + and - on the mxm doesn’t connect to anything. Can the tpms connect to it? I will call you tomorrow as I know it is getting late

He and I connected yesterday. He's using the K Line connection to get RPM and water temp, so that is using the ECU connection.
