Default AIM - Getting data channels into video?

I just loaded my videos from AIM Smartcam 2.2 (preinstalled on the Radical SR3 XX) into RS Studio # Beta, and I only see a handful of data channels - Brake, Throttle and GPS - not even accelerometers. Is there a way to get more channels embedded into the video files? That would make getting the files out for a quick review easier.

The PDM/Logger in the new Radicals is locked down by them. There’s been quite a few updates and revisions to work around bugs and improve functionality. Wisko has done a lot of work with their new cars, Jim Toland has made good progress. The stream from the logger is able to send basic measures, sampled at 6 Hz, to be embedded in the video for RS3A beta. If the channels can be added to the stream, it may be worth your while, but this is a limitation of trying to perform analysis using only the video file. Best bet is to download the data, too. Then, load both into RS3A beta. A little clumsy, but it will give you far more and far better information.

Got it. I tried downloading the data, but I could not find a cable that would work with the port on the dash. Is that provided with the car or bought from AIM or from Radical?

Edit: answered before coffee.

It's a cable that comes with the PDM.

No. That is incorrect.

You should have been provided with the proprietary cable that is terminated with a Swiss Lemo connector for the dash. If you don’t have it, order from a good Radical dealer like Francesco in Chicago or Danyel at VIR. The PDM is not readily accessible in that car and the harness doesn’t allow it.

Thanks, checking with the dealer.
