Default MXL2 - now displaying implausible voltage, other channels blank

Working with my friend and his new MXL2. We have a config loaded and reading data - all WAS well. Saw temp, pressure, voltage, RPM - all as expected. Made a change to channel labels - uploaded the config and POW - something hinky happened. Most channels are now blank/null; 2 have data: 0 MPH and Voltage @ .7v.

Scratching our heads. Have reloaded the config. Started the car - there is clearly more than .7v. We've even put an outside 12v battery to the dash and still only see voltage at .7v.

Is this some sort of error code from the dash? Anyone seen this behavior?

Check the ground wire for the dash. My dash when crazy when my ground wire ring connector failed internally....no, I didn't think a ring connector could fail internally either.

Ground check is a great choice. I'd check the harness connector on the back as well. If no dice, force an old FW and then update again, resend config.

On the config, try sending a basically blank one to see if it works.

Edit: I'm going to bed soon, but call tomorrow if you are still stuck. Cell is 603-674-3250.

Thank you winders & Matt!
We double checked ground - looked and tested good. Then loaded the previous firmware version and it's back to normal. Thank you, thank you!
