Help with Vbox Lite
I have the Auto Track map element in my scene but the track is not being detected nor is it being displayed. Last run was at COTA a couple of weeks ago. Also not tracking lap times or laps.
Obviously have something set up incorrectly, possibly with the GPS (GPS lights are active on the box). Any help is appreciated.

Typically, the track list for the auto track map is included in the latest VBOX Video setup software, also in the firmware for the Video VBOX Lite. A separate track start/finish database can be loaded from a separate file, once unzipped.
What did you change in the scene, if anything? Usually, you can't screw the auto track map up unless you check "ignore start/finish line" inadvertently when you are building that scene.
Are you recording sessions, full length?

Something is off. If you can select it manually, the coordinates are in there. Frank or I should be able to review your scene and figure it out, or support @ Racelogic.com (take out the spaces)

The last Lite firmware was released in March of 2016.
The latest HD2 firmware was just released (1.3.79.1)
The latest track list will help you.

The site has a new LIte firmware dated July 2019. Of course I don't remember my user name or pw and neither the "send me via email" or re-registration works so...
The track database doesn't require log in so that was installed last night.

Ah, the beta firmware. I don’t recommend that unless you’re having an operational issue that is not addressed by normal maintenance (like loading the current track database, which you’ve done). In looking after over two hundred Lites, I’ve never used it!
All firmware updates incorporate the latest track database as does Circuit Tools and the setup configuration software, so please make sure to update those on your computer, too.
Still sounds like a config error, as the relationship between lap timing, elements and the OLED is very important. The OLED is a separate, processor equipped standalone device for lap timing purposes, and can often show times when the video file does not and vice versa, if the config is not correct or created on different generation firmware and software releases.
I do think it’s possible that under the lap timing tab in setup for the config that “ignore start/finish” may have inadvertently been checked.

Update. As of Friday my Vbox Lite wasn't taking the updates. Mitchell from Race Logic Support (UK) spent significant time (and after 5pm UK time on a Friday) helping sort the issue. What ended up working was 1 *.vidup file on the SD card and copied from Windows (using Parallels) versus copying from OSX. This ended up getting the track db and the last production firmware applied. Props to Race Logic for the extra help!!!! How you make a customer for life.
Next issue is to get the appropriate scene file applied for the auto-track map.
In other news - car (944 Sp1) finally made it through a weekend. Now the driver needs to learn to drive a car with the motor in the wrong end While I was the slowest over the weekend I dropped 6 seconds from session 1 to the sprint race and after 25 years of club racing took home Workers Choice for the first time. More excited about the Workers Choice than the 6 seconds.

NOW it makes sense! Emulation and OS X, especially with firmware updates, is problematic. AiM has a whole page devoted to it plus a workaround, as you and Mitchell did. Not normal or common, which is why I now understand your difficulty. Glad you worked it out.
Now, you should be able to add the Auto Track Map element to your scene, save it and transmit it to the device and have it work for maps and lap timing.
Congrats on the Workers Choice. They see everyone, too, so it's quite an honor.
