AIM SMARTYCAM GP HD REV. 2.2 or racelogic video vbox lite?

Here is an example for an older car. For the VBOX I have RPM, throttle and brake sensors. The Smartycam is standalone, however I use an AIM Solo on the steering wheel for predictive lap times.

Great post.
This is why I've sold both lines for almost a decade. Plus MoTeC, which is where you should go next. You're one of the few who could really benefit from it. Especially with Marc as your guide.

I would suggest seeing what other people around you use and what their is for support. The dealers in the US that sell the most products normally offer the least support, which can really leave the end user in a bind of not getting what they need out of the system (even if it is not hard to do!).
Post back with what you decide to get.

Good for you. Very good price in EU, better price than in the USA. Enjoy.

Some internal hardware revisions, most of the accessories like the mounts and cradle mounts have been upgraded. I'd make sure the firmware is upgraded.
Contact and register your email and the serial number with Racelogic UK to get access to that.
Based on the suction cup mount and cradle mounts, this is a VERY early unit, probably mid-late 2016. But the serial number is scratched out on the box, sort of scary, so I can't tell.
The version makes no difference to how you will use it or be able to use it for driver improvement. They all work with the current release of CT2 and the current issue of VBOX Video.
Just make sure the software and the firmware is up to date. You should have gotten a disc which would tell you what generation it is. You should register on the Racelogic site, anyway.

SD card.
Confirm that it is set up for that in the scene. It is, by default.
