Default TPMS system w/ CAN output for $225

I have a new source for the TPMS systems and have been able to get the price point down to $225! The value of these systems as this is amazing. These have a CAN output and will work with any system that has an available CAN input - systems like an AiM MXL2, MXS, MXG, MXS 1.2, MXG 1.2, MXP, Evo4s, Evo5, etc. MoTeC loggers such as the new C series, ADL2, etc are all easily integrated. Race Capture will have a pre-defined setup for their loggers very soon so it's an easy integration. For AiM, I will email you an easy to use CAN protocol so you only have to update your dash config and transmit it.

Connection is an easy 4 wires - CAN +, CAN -, 12 volts, ground. Mounting the receiver is easily done with Velcro (doesn't even have to be Dual Lock). There are two varieties of sensors - external that screw on the valve stems and internal that replace the valve stem. Same price for either.

Full details and to buy at https://trailbrake.com/tire-tpms/ Feel free to post up with any questions. Below are some photos and sample data.

225 for the entire system?

That seems like a killer deal. Would this work with the cosworth system?

It is a killer deal IMHO!

As long as the Cosworth has a CANbus you can add this to. I don't have a CAN profile made for Cosworth, but I'm sure it could be done.

This is awesome. Order placed, can’t wait to hook it up to our MXS

Are they in stock? We’re at Sebring next weekend and would be a good opportunity to test out...

No, only one set of sensors per receiver. They are cheap enough and easy enough to buy 2 or 3 to match the rim sets and still be less than half the cost if any other setup.

That is awesomely cheap. I probably would have done this VS my Izze setup which is much more $s, though you do getinternal IR temps too with the Izze.

Report back how you like them. The internal IR is really cool and I'd love to see some of the data versus external temp and internal temp. The internal IR temps are something that is really leading edge data. When I've dealt with tire engineers, very few have worked with IR tire temps or even good TPMS data. They are used to the pit lane measurements of air pressure before the session and then air pressure and probe temps after.

Seeing IR internal will be cool to figure out the heat conduction of the rubber (I wonder how different steel belts and kevlar really are?), how long they take to stabilize (though temps/pressures are probably correlate well), and how even they are in comparison to the external sensors. That will be some great data to learn!

These won't give you that, but I think they are tremendous for the price. The value point and ease of use is really high.

Thanks! You're in just before I run out. There are only 2 systems left until more show up in about 10 days.

Matt,
Do these show values on the dash in real time( Pista) or can they be used with an external 433mhz display or is it logging only? Assuming they are 433...
Damn, gonna need 3 or 4 of these LOL
