2 part question:

1. If I have an Aim SOLO DL hooked to a Smarty Cam HD. If I go to a track that has the map pre-loaded into Smarty Cam, but NOT the Solo DL. Will it automatically start logging and recording?
2. I can not get the SOLO DL to work with Race Studio 3, so I see I must use GPS Manager to load tracks onto SOLO DL. How do I get a map from Race Studio 3 to GPS manager (file types are different)? If I can not, where is a bigger database of tracks for GPS Manager?

If the SCHD has the tracks loaded, it will share start finish with the DL. I do load them in with though.

The original Solo DL uses RS2 for config and GPS manager for the tracks. The SCHD uses RS3. If you have the track coordinates, you can make a new track in GPS Manager (or vice versa).

Entered gps coordinates from RS3 to gps manager. How do I export or find track map shapes in correct format or is that possible?

It's a .gpk file in your data folder (default is C:\AIM_SPORT\RaceStudio2\DATA) Select a session that has the right track shape and you're good to go.
