Default Mirroring MAC/Parallels to hotel TV

What is the most inexpensive and simplest solution for mirroring a Macbook to a hotel TV for reviewing on-track videos.
Assume video playback could be from a OSX application or under windows/parallels.

I believe an AppleTV would work, but that is expensive and requires external power and an HDMI cable.
I prefer one of the 'streaming stick' solutions which could just plug into the hotel TV.

Apple TV is super. The new ones are small, a 3 foot HDMI cable and the AC cable takes up little space.
Pretty sure you could airplay to an iPad with an HDMI dongle, too. Even easier.

Yup, hard to beat a simple HDMI cable (plugs right into my current MBP). I think a slim 5m cable should handle just about any situation.
There appear to be very slim cables available with reasonable quality and capable of handling basic 1080p bandwidth.

I thought you were looking for a wireless solution. Wired is easiest.

Yup - I'd prefer wireless. Guess the slim HDMI cable is a no brainer as I can use it for direct connect or to an AppleTV.
