Default AIM MXS Shift Lights no longer working

The shift lights on my MXS are no longer working. The tach is working just fine.

The car is a 2010 Miata. I was out of commission for quite a while with a blown engine and I had been playing with the MXS configuration off an on during the down time but I cannot figure out what I might have done to disable the shift lights. I am using the same engine RPM channel for both the tach and the lights and the RPM values for the shift lights are being exceeded on the track, so the lights should be coming on.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions. The only next step I can think to do is to create a new configuration from scratch and hope for the best.

Thanks!

John

You can't turn them off. As long as you are hitting the values (they aren't set over an attainable RPM), they should work. I haven't head of any problems like this, but it might be worth calling Roanoke to see what they say.

Matt,

Thanks. I'll give AIM a call.

I'd build a new config, especially if you've updated software and firmware.
