Aim Race Studio 2 track map help
Hi,
I am trying to download a COTA Track Map to Race studio 2 and cant seem to find a *mp file that the program asks for. I cant find anything that shows me how to convert a Jpeg image either. I just recently purchased the Aim Solo DL and downloaded race Studio 2. I used the solo at COTA this past weekend and am trying to use the program. I did connect it to my OBD II any help would be appreciated
Thanks Joe

For segment analysis and what you are doing, you can make the map pretty easy. It's Map>New. This video explains it very well

It sounds like you have a map associated with the file and it's the wrong one. In the map manager make a new map and then select it for all open tests. That should fix the problem.

Existing map database?
Is there a database of existing *.mp track maps that we can simply download into race studio analysis, as needed? Or do we need to generate a track map from our own data?

People can certainly share files, but attempts at large shares have never been too successful. It's really not bad to make them on your own.

Map database
Thank you, Matt. I often find I have to put a bit of work into getting all the corners sliced and diced to match up the same way the track has them named. Was hoping to avoid that when possible. 👍🏻
