Default AiM GPS positional accuracy

What should the range of GPS positional accuracy be when using AiM Solo and EVO4?

I'm seeing about 2 meters.

I think 95% CEP for these units is 1.5-2 meters.

My experience with VBOX is a little better and the 20 Hz VBOX Pro and MoTeC RaceGrade modules are the best, IMO.

Roger likes using AiM’s GPS positioning as a measure, but I’ve not had that great luck with it. Normally, I use a .kml export and its hit or miss, much less so with the 20 Hz units above.

The newer AiM GPS engine (which adds GLONASS, among better ground correction) is definitely better.

With the GPS05 (like the Evo4 has) over seen around 1.5-2 meters like you and Peter. GPS08 seems to be about 1/10 of that most times.

It also varies based on atmospheric conditions, satellite placement, terrain, etc. Sounds like you are in the ballpark.
