Default Calibrate brake pressure sensor

For use with MXL2. Is there a standard method for calibrating the bps? Is the sensor pre-calibrated when it arrives? We are reading 145psi with zero pressure on the pedal, and getting some other funny readings. Thank you.

No calibration. Make sure you have the right sensor selected and if it still doesn't read zero, you can create a custom sensor. Normally 500 mv is zero and 5 volts is full scale. Change the 500 lower until you read zero. You can see the exact value you need if you look at mv in live view.

Hah! We were both answering duplicate posts!

You might want to check, but IIRC, the AiM KA PRS-839 0-2000psi sensors spec sheet says 500mV for 0psi, 4500mV for 2000psi.

Good catch! That's what I get for posting when at dinner with friends.
