Track Precision app on iPhone and Bad Elf GPS?
Hi,
I'm considering switching to the iOS version of the Porsche Track Precision app since it seems more stable and more often updated than the Android version (which is a shame really... would much prefer it on Android).
Looking at external GPS receivers I found the Bad Elf GPS with lighning connector: https://bad-elf.com/products/be-gps-1008
it does work with Harry's Laptimer but has anyone experience if it works with Porsche's Track Precision app?

Yes, I know the Vbox Sport is most likely the most accurate/best solution ... but i really like the fact that the Bad Elf dongle just plugs in to the iPhone. So no additional device to mount, no additional battery to charge, etc.

No. The internal battery (charged with an included microUSB cable and car charger plug) is good for all day (and I've used my VBOX Sport for several days off a full charge). Has an SD card to log its own .vbo files, too.

I am usually really supportive of business owners/sponsors who are active here on Rennlist and would definitely order a VBox Sport from you... but given that I'm based in Switzerland I assume that shipping and import tax will make it significantly more expensive compared to buying it locally here somewhere
