What do you guys suggest for surface prep prior to putting on temporary vinyl numbers at a track day? I generally get the car detailed the night before an event, but after a 2hr drive, would prefer to clean the surface immediately before putting the numbers on... Car is a white Cayman with CQuartz..

Also, any issues putting numbers on top of the Xpel on the hood?
