So i was glad Saturday was not too nice out so I spent the day doing a full detail of my new 981. Although I purchased it with only 5000 miles on it, the previous owner didn't do much to keep the car looking her best. So here is what I did:

1. Cleaned the wheels with Sonax Full effect: Removed brake dust and iron particles
2. Did a thorough wash twice with Chemical Guys Honeydew
3. Sonax clay bared the entire vehicle (except front and rockers which has 3m Pro paint protection)
4. Polished out "all" scratches and the few swirl marks I could see with Menzerna FF3500. There were'nt many so didn't want to go too aggressive
5. Did a coat of Chemical Guys White Light glaze
6. Finished paint with 2 coats of Menzerna Power Lock. Love that stuff!
7. Sealed wheels with McKees 37 wheel sealant
8. Treated all rubber with 303 Aerospace
9. Treated all leather with Lexol cleaner and conditioner
10. Did a full glass treatment. First Stoner, then clay bar lube and razor blade, and then Stoner again, with a good coat of RainX.

Yeah, my entire Saturday was taken up but it is kind of fun with what I think are great results.
