Default What should I try?

I have a 2005 997 very basic black.

Can someone recommend some wax & care products?
I have cleaned, clay barred polished and waxed a few times, All I get is shiny. No depth whatsoever. Used GlossHouz and Mothers carnuba.

Is it just the paint? Clear coat?

I have an orbital polisher and have had great results on other cars. This one the best I have achieved is meh.

Thanks.

I have bee using Pinnacle Souverän as my wax of choice on black...good results. Although no real protection, a glaze like Adams Glaze will give nice depth, warmth and shine...just doesn't last.

You may also be ready for a paint correction. I like Menzerna polishes ( Medium 2400 and Final Cut for finish polish) for a 2-step polish. Start with finish and blue pad and see what you get....step up to medium with orange pad if you need more aggressive.
