Default Best UV protector for the dash of a 2015 991 GTS.

I just noticed today while wearing my polarized sunglasses that the top of the dash is starting to get discolored. I don't know if it's vinyl or leather. I do not have full leather package. I am wondering about using some kind of UV protector or leather coating like CQuartz Leather Coating, Gyeon Leather Coat, 303, Leather Masters Cream or Nexzett Vinyl Extra.

I just purchased a sunshade but I would like to get the right protection right now before it's too late.

303 if it's vinyl which it likely is if you don't have full leather.

303 was my first thought but then I was wondering if would leave a shine on the dash. I am looking to keep the same matte finish.

I have been using 303 as a dressing on the engine compartments of my previous BMWs. I like the shine on the engine but I am not a fan on the dashboard.
Has anyone used SONAX dashboard cleaner Matte Finish? I am giving this a try since I want to keep the same matte finish on my dash. I understand that this has also protective qualities.

I haven't used it, sounds like it might be worth trying though. But is it a cleaner and UV protectant or just a cleaner with anti static properties?

Your dash is vinyl. Adam's Interior Detailer would be very good choice: UV protection with matte finish.

The sunshade is the key.

Here is a review of Sonax Dashboard cleaner Matte Finish. This is what I am going with. I will be able to make a comparison with 1z Cockpit Premium.

Agreed, if the car is spending time in the sun a sunshade is a very good idea.

Today I received Sonax Dashboard Cleaner Matte Finish. I applied it to a white microfiber towel, I used just one spray and went over the whole dash. I am very happy with the results. True matte OEM finish. I like it better that 1EZ Cockpit premium for the dash since it doesn't streak. Can't go wrong with Sonax products.

The chemicals used to provide ultra violet (UV) protection are very expensive; marketing would surly insist it is listed. It would be very rare for it to be included in a product that is only meant for use as a cleaner.

My vote would be for Iz Cockpit premium

That was my thinking as well. How does 1Z Cockpit premium compare to 303 as far as protection and finish?

Cockpit Premium is also a cleaner with light protection. Vinyl Rubber Care and Protectan would be the product to use for maximum protection.
The difference between Cockpit Premium and 303 is the look. 303 looks wetter than 1Z CP. I was looking to keep the matte OEM look that's why I didn't want to use 303. I am very happy with the results and the OEM matte look that Dashboard Cleaner gives. Next is Vinyl Rubber Care and Protectant on my search for the best product combination.
