DA polisher - which way to stroke it
Hi -
I have a Porter Cable DA Polisher (7242?) and want to know which way to move it (side to side or front to back) on the flat surfaces (hood, roof, trunk lid) vs the vertical panels (doors, fenders, etc). I recall there being a recommended direction based on the panel, but it's been a while...
Thanks!

You may be thinking about light refraction; as it would make a difference in the way you apply product
Polishing hower is the removal of scratches that 'break up' light reflection.
Polish application -
Use a soft foam applicator and work a small section (18 x 18 –inch) working the product into paint. This will provide the paint with a deep high gloss
• Apply a few pea sized drops of polish to the face of a clean pad.
• Spread the product over an 18" x 18" area or less with extremely light pressure to distribute the product evenly
• Work the polish in with medium to firm pressure in an overlapping, circular motion.
• Overlap each pass by 50% working left to right and then up and down
• Remove any excess product with a clean microfiber towel (do not allow polish to dry)
• Repeat steps until the entire vehicle has been polished
