Default Best product to use?

I have a 1998 993 C2S, and I would like to rejuvinate the black basketball-textured leather-like strip that runs along the dash and the doors. Is a leather product the thing to use, or is a plastic/trim product better suited to darken and freshen this interesting material?

Thanks!

Thanks, but I am not convinced that black strip of material is indeed leather. Does anyone know what that stuff is and what works best to condition it?

To be safe, you could try a product that works on both. I keep coming back to 303 Aerospace Protectant. Very versatile stuff that I've used on vinyl, leather and rubber.

303 is good. Zaino Z10 is good, too.

Another vote for 303 on vinyl. Being safe on leather is just an added bonus.

I was never sure if it was leather in my 993. Please let me know if you ever find out.

besides the 303 aerospace which is nice.

I would also consider 1Z einszett Cockpit which is our best selling interior cleaner, which will an OEM finish, no sheen or gloss.
