Default FLEX XC3401 on the way!

Thanks to the forum members for you suggestions. I went back and read up on the various products out there. I had it narrowed down to the Porter Cable, Griots, and the FLEX.

What sold me on the FLEX was that I did not skimp on the car and buy a Miata (with all due respect as to how fun they are), why not buy the best orbital polisher?

Besides, it is made in Germany, the same as my car. I am part German. I had no choice!

Moe at Glistening Perfection was very helpful over the phone. I left a message and he called back less than a half hour later. He asked me a few questions and made some suggestions to change a few things in his Advanced Polish Kit to better fit my needs. I appreciated that he did this rather than just sell the stock kit. I recommend him.

I use the Zaino system. I really like it. It put a nice hard shine on my car for a long time, over a year (about 7500 miles). It did not take out the swirls though. I decided to use the FLEX and Menzerna combo to give it a try. I will still use the Zaino to finish off the car.

I probably won't get to using this until the last of April or the first of May.

I will post before and after pictures then.

That's a high speed rotary. I would not recommend it to the DIYer.
