PS Detailed: 2008 Porsche 911 4S Cabriolet in Basalt Black
I polished this one back in March. Client took the car in to have a small area on the rear of the car touched up. He told them "DO NOT WASH THE CAR!"
Well they washed it and the clients careful washes did not matter anymore.
The swirls where "minimal" but enough for the client to call me back out.
Sorry for the lack of before pics.
Process:
QEW wash.
Claying not needed.
Wipedown w straight IPA.
KBM via M105/orange/PC6 on a few deeper RIDS.
KBM via M205/White/PC6 on the rest.
KBM via M205/Black/PC6
Wheels cleaned with Valu-gard custom wheels cleaner and various brushes.
Tires/wells cleaned with ARO 1:3 water
Foamed w/ Z7 and cleaned with sheepskin mitt and 2BM.
2x of ZFX'd Z5pro, followed by Z8.
Tires got Z-16.
Vac interior.
Foam with Z7
