Default Detailer's Domain: Sam Hornish Jr's Becker 996 GT3 Supercup Car

This one was a really cool job! I got to do my customer's new purchase Sam Hornish Jr's Becker 996 GT3 Super Cup Car from I think 2001-2002 race season!

This job was a clean up, however it will be going in the shop for a full ground up restoration, paint, engine pull/tune up, and a whole new set of decals from Becker after track season.

I thought this was a good time to try out Adam's Machine Polish and Adam's Machine Super Wax.

This one was much tougher than his 993TT there were just so many decals on this one.

After the full restoration the customer will track it next year in as many track events as he can get to [up]

Process:
P21S Gel on the wheels
P21S Auto wash on the tires
Wash with Adam's Car Wash
Dried with Waffle Weave Drying Towels
Clayed with Adam's Clay Bar (Gray) and Adam's Detail Spray
Used Adam's Machine Polish with Metabo at 1500 E2K Green pad
Used Adam's Machine Super Wax with Metabo at 1500 E2K Black pad

Int:
Vacuum dirt/nylon ties/anything else that didn't belong
A wipe down with Adam's Detail Spray (anything metal)
A wipe down with Einszett Cockpit (the rest)
Seat was pulled vacuumed and wiped down

Engine:
Wiped down and sprayed with Adam's In and out

Before pics:

Windows:
All the lexan windows looked like this (customer will be replacing all of them)

Phil it looks great thanks ! I reinstalled the seat and new harness. Also i put in a new steering wheel over the weekend. Same one from the factory that was in there.

The lean windows came out way better than the pics show. they look brand new and clear.

That looks like it would be a really difficult car to work on. Great job!
