Default preserving and cleaning vinyl?

I finally tracked down a new dash for my car (the current one is split and badly covered after some punk broke in), and I want to do my best to make sure that it doesn't go hard/fade/crack in sunlight (not that we get much here in the UK!)

Can anyone reccomend any products for this?

TIA

Vinylex, it's cheap and it works.

Also try Aerospace 303. It's like a sunscreen # 40 for your car. You can use it on just about everything. Gives a nice low sheen appearance too.

I use Vinylex too, believe it has the highest UV protection.

thanks all. Now all I have to do is find some in the UK that doesn't come from the most expensive classic parts supplier in the whole universe!

I ran it over with Meguiars gold class trim detailer to clean it up for now. certainly that stuff seems to work on my spoiler anyhow. Time to get onto google for some vinylex!
