Tell me about it.

When I started this thread I had a 20+ year absence from Concours last one was in the 80's at Orengeburg NY PCNA headquarters, since then I have won close to 100 concours trophies, judged at all levels including Parade.

I hate to say it but very few judges even at Parade level really know what they are looking at and I have seen cars win preservation class with more than 75% of the paint was obviously redone, non period correct parts and tool kits while others were dinged for things that didn't exist and or having clear film on their car.

It is a subjective sport but I have limited tolerance for petty politics. It is more who you know or if they like the car than what the rules state IMO.
