Default Black Targa Roof & Black Targa Bar

Picking up a 2019 T-4 GTS and want to make sure I use the proper products on the black Targa Roof and black Targa Bar to avoid any potential damage.
Please advise what I should and should not use on these areas of the car.
Thanks in advance.

For the Targa roof, you can coat with GYEON Fabric Coat and otherwise wash the rest of the vehicle normally.

For Targa bars, we use POLISHANGEL Cosmic Spritz to coat which works very well: https://www.esotericcarcare.com/poli...cosmic-spritz/

Thanks for your response.
I read that the GYEON Fabric Coat bottle leaks quite a bit when using the spray and this becomes an issue because you must avoid getting it on the paint.....thoughts ?
Regarding the Cosmic Spritz - want to confirm that it won't cause discoloration of the black Targa Bar and from what I read it is good to use on the entire car.
Thanks

For the Targa Top, I'd suggest RaggTopp. 3-4 light coats. The parent company, Wolfstein, is the OE coating supplier to Porsche.

For daily top maintanence, use a sticky tape roller. The newest roller from Scotch Brite are excellent, best I've used in over 12 years. Never wash the fabric top with soap. Water only. Surprised Esoteric above suggest otherwise.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.....that is quite a contradiction to what is being suggested above.
Anxious to hear the thoughts of others.

You will also hear good reports on the 303 product for cabriolet tops.

The only time you "wash" the cabriolet, is with the proper product, PRIOR TO applying a protectant coating. Maybe every other year, depending on use. Only clean the cabriolet with water during your car washing routine. I've been doing this for years, and my tops look like new, and have won a couple Concours.

Be careful what you use on the black targe bar. Read here:

Greatly appreciate your input.
Have been a "coupe guy" for many years and just purchased a Targa so not well versed on how to care for the top.

The Targa bar is another concern of mine.
Owned a 1986 Targa and recall the bar discoloring for one reason or another and want to avoid that happening again.
Is there one product in particular that should be used on it ?
Thoughts on Cosmic Spritz as suggested above ?
Thanks for sharing

Yes, wash the *rest* of the car normally. Apologies for the confusion.

Cosmic Spritz on the rest of the vehicle is fine.

For Fabric Coat application we mask off the rest of the car as shown in our video...
