Default Bad results with Sonax?

Ive been using Sonax leather cleaner and condition for many years. Lately I’ve been getting streaks and uneven results. Have they changed the formula? Can anyone recommend any product? Thanks.

I recently tried a few cleaners - Leather Masters, Sonax and Zaino.

Didn’t notice problems with Sonax, but at this point, I’m going with the Zaino products.

Got very good results just yesterday with Zaino leather cleaner and a leather brush on the front seats. Finished with the Zaino leather protectant.

There appears to be so much nake oil out there manufactured by dubious companies. Don’t particularly trust any of them. I’ve been using Lexol for the last 35 years. It’s what the equestrians used back then-don’t really know what is in vague now.
Proof of the pudding are my ‘86 seats with over 250k miles.

Been using Murphy's oil soap for 25 years and my seats look like new. Big bottle cost $4 bucks. No need to pay for a silly "leather" cleaner.

Fair enough, but do note that the materials have changed over time. Where we used to be working with just leather, the current materials are leathers with plastic and UV coatings of various kinds. That may change the effectiveness of the different cleaner options.

Thanks I'll try the Zaino.
