Quality repaint cost..
I'm curious of what a really really good repaint would cost. I'm under the impression there is low level repaint and then there is a take off every panel and redo seals etc repaint. I'm interested in the latter. The car is a 964 RS America. Thanks.

I agree on the second point. A really good, thorough paint correction and detail might cost you $1000-2000, but if it can refresh and restore your paint to an acceptable level you are saving a decimal place over a complete strip and repaint. I have no reference on a Porsche, but my aunt had her '65 Mustang stripped down and painted to show-car level and it cost her $13k.

to OP, what is your concern?
as many have mentioned, depending on the issue, a proper paint correction and nano coating could be done with amazing results, depending on initial condition.

$10-20k to repaint an entire car, but I would avoid as others have mentioned.
