My 996.2 received a full correction prior to purchase. Now the goal is keep it looking that good. Planned to go with Adams products, however I hear more and more good things about Chemical guys. What are you all using?....my car is black BTW

More important that the actual products used (assuming you use quality products, and both mentioned here are), will be your actual technique, and tools (wash mitts, foam canon, MasterBlaster.....just to name a few). So, work on that and do that research, too. Lots of good guys to follow in this Forum.

Quality microfibers are also critical, my go to are Cobra 530 and Griots PFM grey towel. They’re both very high quality and won’t swirl the paint.

Agree with the prior posts. Proper tools and technique are paramount to a great detail and maintenance. If its not amazing before you apply wax then you have not done it correctly.
I will add that I have used Adams Polishes products for a long time on a 1989 Guards Red (964) and custom Blue Metallic 1968 (912) with excellent results. And more recently on a 2006 Arctic Silver (997). To be honest I have never tried Chemical Guys as once I found Adam's I stayed with them.
I have no affiliation with Adams Polishes. Just a long time satisfied customer.
