IDOT is expanding the shoulders for PACE busses and resurfacing parts of the Edens.
From what I experienced yesterday they are at this time resurfacing one lane at a time in about 100 yard stretches. This involves taking the lane down significantly below grade. At 60 mph, I was glad I was not in a Porsche but an XC70. Until this work is completed, my driving on the Edens is once again curtailed in any vehicle.-Richard
