Default Good Porsche Mechanic in Chicago?

I just picked up a 2011 Panamera 4S with 53K miles. All is well and it runs great, but I live downtown Chicago and was hoping to find a good shop that can help me look everything over and perhaps updated the PCM software. Can you guys recommend anyone in Chicago where you have had a good experience? Or do you always just take it to the dealer?

Midwest Performance Cars is a shop just west of the loop that I would highly recommend. I took many cars there when I lived in Chicago and always got great service from them. They service all european makes and models.

Thanks. I actually just found them earlier in the day on yelp. Reviews seems mostly good. Thankfully my work will pick up maintenance, but I still hope there is nothing tremendously wrong with the car. It's such a pleasure to drive.

Default Yeah, I am Zombi-ing this thread

Couple different questions here. Any more to this list? I am in the north burbs.

Second, my car is still in CPO. Should I just take it to Exchange or an independent or it doesn't matter.

Thanks!!!

Thanks for the tip to VFC--I live 5 blocks away! Talked to the owner Doug--great price quote for oil/filter change on my 2018 Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid!

Thank you.

I would take it to the Exchange. They do have competent mechanics. If for general maintenance like oil change, brakes, etc, you can try Axels Automotive in Lake Bluff.

I’m right on the WI/IL border. Any good shops in that area?
