food, either way is fine by me.
Depending on when we start and when we eat you may end up peeling off to make the bee-line for church so you aren't late. If we're starting at 8am, driving a 1:30~1:40 minute route, and fitting breakfast in there somewhere I'm worried you might not make it. It will all depend on how long breakfast takes.

For the reason above I'd like to keep it smaller. The larger it gets the more time it takes to get food. More difficult to park cars, longer wait for a table, longer to order, receive, and eat, and longer to pay bills. If we're eating at home and showing up ready to drive I don't care if we have a dozen cars coming along. If we want to grab a table somewhere, especially a small cafe on a Sunday, smaller groups are not as much fun, but much easier to manage.

Perhaps we meet at 7:30am and just bring our own breakfast to eat while meeting and mingling in the parking lot before heading out on the drive at 8am? It'll be easier to invite more people as I too have a few friends who might want to join us. If I can convince my wife to wake up before 11am on a weekend that's another potential body that we'd have to account for if we stop for breakfast.

that makes sense to me. I'm pretty sure the bmw wont be coming if its sunday, not sure about the vette. so I'm thinking I'll just have my self and wife and possibly one other Porsche.

no worries on the food here. was just a thought. plus if I skip b-fast.. I should pick up a few mph in the Porsche for not having a full tummy

It was embarrassing when I owned a Miata and sitting it in increased the weight by 10%!

Confirming...

I'll be there around 7:30am. We'll plan on head out around 8:00am. If there are no objections my plan is to take the route I created / plotted in Google Maps. For anyone who wants to I believe you can open the map and have it sent to your phone (if you have google maps on a smart phone). That way you have the route available should the group of cars get split up.

wow what a fun drive

Scooby my wife wants to trade porsches lol and tekkie, my son thinks your Porsche sounds like a race car lol

For anyone who might be following the thread.. come next time, it was a blast. Scooby picked out a route that was awesome. Their were straight-a-ways, their was curves, their was even bystanders to drop there jaw when we drove by and plug their ears when tekkie reved his beast lolol

It really was a fun time and I'm up for doing it again for sure. We need more local events for these cars such a blast to get together and enjoy them.

It was nice to meet you both in person, and I'm glad you enjoyed the drive/route.

Brian, I'm pleased that your wife likes my car, but I'm keeping it .

Just happened upon this forum. A great driving event is upcoming at Grattan road course, sponsored by PCA. Grattan is north of Grand Rapids. September 9 & 10.

3 ***** Racing also has two more days scheduled at Grattan for Sept 30th and Oct 1st. I'll be there on the 30th.

Does WMI PCA run multiple events at Grattan? I will have to check their schedule for next year and try to make one. SEM PCA appears to use Waterford Hills all the time so I haven't bothered to attend any of the local events.

If it's dry I think I'm going for a drive tomorrow morning (Saturday). Probably the same route as last time, though I may not make the stop in Holly for coffee. I'll roll through the parking lot at Great Harvest before starting out (8:00am).
