Hello all!

Looking to purchase a porsche in Crystal Lake, IL if all goes well. I would have to fly out from NJ should the purchase happen. Could anyone refer me to a trusted and qualified tech for PPI?

my recommendations are not 'near' crystal lake, but highly recommend Chicago Performance and Tuning (www.gocpt.com) in Melrose Park. Al is the owner and many of us owners trust and have years of experience with him.

another great option is calling Russ (service advisor) at Porsche of Westmont. he's very knowledge too.

i assure you both would be worth the the trips.

Thanks for your referals djillusion. I mapped it out and it appears to be about an hour drive from the location of the car. I would have to discuss with the seller to see if he will okay with this.

Anyone else with recommendations? Preferably closer to the location of the car?

Also, would anyone advise against taking it to a nearby dealership for the PPI?

Fischer Motors in Barrington. Rick Fischer is the owner. 847-304-8822. About 5 miles away from Crystal Lake. If you want a dealership, Motor Werks is also close by.
