What kind of radios do they use on this run. I was looking at buying some for the car. Any suggestion on a good set? Thank you in advance.

most use handheld Motorolas but reception isn’t great with the handhelds. I have a cobra handheld with bigger antenna. People say good things about beofeng but some of the channels require a license and they require some modification to work with the others.
