I'm wondering if anyone has had work done at G Design Racing in Addison, and how it went for them.

I need someone to r&i the engine on my '996 for a rebuild and I'm considering this shop. I heard Joey (the owner) did a Chicago PCA tech event that impressed folks, and he certainly seems to know these cars. His rates are better than specialty shops in Chicago, too. I'm just wondering if anyone has done work there and can recommend them, since it's a new shop.

@Lugs H Thanks for the reply! I already checked out the site and talked to Joey. He was great on the phone (knowledgeable, patient, and friendly) and the shop looks great on the website. I was just curious if anyone here has direct experience with Joey and his shop working on their Porsche.

Yes. Both mine (‘06) and my sons (‘07) C2S have been worked on by Joey.

Joey did excellent work on my 991.2 Turbo and now my 991.2 GT3RS. He does meticulous work and ensures his techs do as well.
