955 Cayenne DIY: 2006 Bose Radio/CD Fix
 

I recently had a problem with the Bose Radio/CD player on the Cayenne that I bought. A CD was stuck and the dash buttons were dead. I could only control the music from the steering wheel buttons.
Eventually, after I heard everything from having to change the whole system I fixed it by removing the fuse (in the right side fuse board-the owner's manual shows the location)
1. Put the ignition on so that the radio is working.
2. While it is on pull the fuse.
3. Turn the ignition off and remove the key.
4. Put the fuse back in.
5. Turn the ignition back on.
Everything should work and you should be able to eject the CD too.
This procedure may well work on other models too.
