That's a Cayenne -- maybe a coolant pipe breakage releasing toxic chemicals?

Maybe a coolant leak could vaporizing and entering the cabin could contaminate it enough for the passengers to become poisoned, but 2-3 people just working the scene, I don't think so. Also, wouldn't one of the police officers know what coolant smells like instead of it being an "unidentified substance" and smelled strongly from 200 feet away?

Seems like it had to be something else.
