Removing the headlight switch
My headlight selector switch broke off and I got a replacement unit. For the life of me I can’t figure out how to remove and replace the switch. Has anyone figured this out? Thank you!!

If its like the one in the 997s, starting with the switch in the off position, you push it in, and while continuing to push it in, turn it counter clockwise to the left until it stops, which will release the internal clips, then pull it straight out.

1. Release main headlight switch by turning it -arrow A- and pull it forward slightly -arrow B- .
2. Unclip trim -1- around the main headlight switch -2- . 3. Remove main headlight switch -2- completely.
4. Disconnect electric plug connection on the main headlight switch -arrow- .
