All Hybrid Builds have been Delayed until at least January

If they need a day for the hardware part and a day for the software part then many dealers will be very frustrated.
My dealer has 35 hybrids now sitting and waiting for the part. It will take them a long time to deliver these cars.
Anybody knows if the software for the 2 open campaigns has been released?

Agreed, and it`s not exactly like it's a brand new platform and / or powertrain, it is just a facelift with a bigger battery.

Update on my UK Hybrid. And not a positive one.
The required part was due in on Friday. However, it’s now not coming in and could be upto 3-weeks.
Kindly, my dealer has allowed me to borrow a Taycan until it arrives as I’d sold my previous car. Whilst collecting the Taycan I was shown my Cayenne, which is making me even more impatient.
Still with a Taycan to run around in, I cannot complain.

This is more in line with my information. They will get the part in week 38 the earliest. Most possible is week 40 unfortunately.

By the way I am in the exact same situation. Saw the car, sat in the car but I will get it in 2-3 weeks

Seems we are going for week 41-42 for the hardware campaign back ordered parts. So mid october if there are no more delays. This does not look very good.

As I said on the Ugly Rear Skirt Thread, Porsche probably generates more profit by firing some QC techs (“They don’t actually build any cars anyway!”) than not painting the side and rear skirts.

The “part” is due in Monday. So my dealer has penciled in Wednesday to collect.

Absolutely loved it.
The way it drives down the road is sensational.
I’ve been fortunate to drive some decent cars and I would say this is the best car I’ve driven.
I was considering a 4S, this is a base car, though heavily optioned. After spending time in this. I think the base RWD is more than ample and is probably what I’d go for now.
The ride is astounding, steering precise and handling defies physics. The main thing that blew me away though is the ride.
Everything else I’ve driven since has felt crashy, bouncy, unrefined and rolls in the corners. It’s the first time I’ve driven my wife’s new X5 and it’s felt old and outdated in the way it drives.
What’s not so good, it’s an enormous car. Wider than a Range Rover I’m told. But the internal space is cramped at best. The seats feel narrow, I do prefer the relaxed driving position of an SUV too.

Does anybody know if the Hybrids currently leaving the factory have the updated HV cable. Got a message from my dealer saying my car was built and waiting in Emden for a boat to Ireland and fingers crossed it has the updated cable.
