Home Depot Cayenne crew
This is not an informative thread. It’s a shout-out to Cayenne drivers, and the kinship I believe we share.
Stopped at Home Depot yesterday with the family to pick up a few things. Parked in the ***-end of nowhere as usual. Came out to find a previous-gen modded Cayenne Turbo driver next to me — not an accident.
Understand, this Home Depot is in an area where Porsches are nearly unheard-of, rather than just unicorns like CTTs. Loved coming out and seeing this. Wanted to leave a note but girls were hungry and anxious for dinner.
Cheers to the Porsche community. You guys make owning this special marque all the more special.

Ha! Looking at the photo, I think I did a pretty ****ty job of parking myself. But thanks for the kind words.
His (or hers) was a kind of beaten-down -- lots of door dents and scratches. The the owner had enough pride to know what he or she was driving / modding, however. Driving a car that's not a damn pristine garage queen like ours definitely has its advantages -- no swirl-mark OCD or unnatural fear of shopping carts!

And I'm just effing with your smart-*** posts for my own entertainment. Takes one to know one and all that.
But seriously: Try the scouring pad when your new Turbo shows up. Throw in some AJAX for good measure. You'll have an original, aggressive, satin-finish paint in no time.

Given Porsche's thin paint, I think I would likely end up with a stainless steel looking Cayenne. If it stays at sea any longer, I will not likely have to worry about the paint, there won't be any left.
