Mine is Midnight Blue, which is basically a gorgeous shade of black.

Well I am going against the grain here. I love black Porsches. Both my Cayennes are Black/Black and my 996TT is triple black. The Cayenne black is a metallic black, so its a little easier to keep clean. Its subjective. But dont settle. Been there done that, and I could not live with it.

Ceramic Pro is the product I have used on my GT3, SL65, 720S, GT2RS and now Cayenne S. The Gold pkg is 4 coats and is a lifetime warranty. It costs about $2000 and takes 2 days to apply. There is a 1 hour curing period between coats and 12 hours after final coat. No washing of the car for 10 days after everything. The finished product is 9H which the hardest finish. No affiliation, here is a link to their product. They are out of Socal.

Guys, I am not a gray guy. I had a 1988 Toyota Camry once (we all have to start somewhere, and I had a 1981 Toyota Supra then the Camry). It looks too close to the Quartzite. Sorry, its just me. I have never had another gray color in almost 50 cars after. . Its me, it would give me nightmares!

Yes, Camrys came in every color, and I guess that black one was my dream over the gray one ! In all seriousness, I think Quartzite is ok and looks good on a 9Y0. But I really did have a gray Camry and that gray was very close to Quartzite. It takes about 30 years or so and those colors come back. Black, white, and red are timeless, but not for everyone.

There are some good you tube videos. BTW, they also do the interior. My dealer mentioned they would even after a few years do another coat if needed, since its lifetime. Really great product. Dealer claims that on trade, they may give more $$, but I think that is more a part of their sales pitch, but who knows.
Also wanted to share a link from the Panamera forum (doing a little moderation duties ).

This base Cayenne lasted 1 day on the showroom floor and was sold. Good news for someone, they have 1 more just like it. Again, no affiliation.

Just FYI, the color appears a little more gold in real life than it is in those in those GREAT pics!
They took me back into the shop area of Livermore Porsche where my Cayenne was getting a final detailing and the salesman pointed out a special 911 they had back there. "It's the car that posted the fastest lap time at the nurenburg ? track". Basically the fastest production car in the world. I said 250K? He said nope $500K...….
