Getting CTT on Friday!
I originally posted a thread some weeks ago that I was ordering an S (> My order. What do you think?) that was locking in on 2/2 with expected delivery in April/May time frame. Did not mind the wait, but an occasion opened up that was too good to pass up. A recent Turbo order fell thru just prior to delivery, and dealer offered me same discount on my ordered. Has only those options I really cared for: 18 way seats, carbon fiber int + steering wheel, turbo wheels. Color is MB, which was our second choice (QG was the first, and still the best out of the lousy choices available). Has a few other options I don't care much about (HUD, for example!).
I justified the Turbo by 1) delivery now vs three months from now for the S, 2) was on the fence about ordering Turbo, but allocation put us into mid to late summer, and 3) some of the options I wanted on the S are standard on the Turbo (Wow! I saved $$$... right!).
Oh, and it's a Turbo.
Will post a few pics after pick up and first speeding ticket.

I think once you start using the HUD you will be glad you got it.
i wouldn’t buy a vehicle without it now.
the only thing I wish is that is showed the speed limit sign in the HUD.

Seems like you made the right choice for you. Yes, post pics when you get a chance.
Your new baby sounds like a carbon (interior) copy of ours, right down to exterior color. (Sometimes I kill myself!) Congratulations and cheers!

I hope you're right. It's not that I don't like it, but I wouldn't have gone out of my way to order it. It's there, so I'm sure I'll learn to like it.

Almost! You have a very nice interior color mix that I really like. Even on my S order I stuck to black, as I was trying to cut costs and stay conservative. You have roof rails, and I wish mine did, too. But really, this Turbo has 99% of what I really care about-- a 550hp engine that I will utilize almost nil!

Ironic that I have had many sports cars over the years, including a 911, and this is by far the highest HP car (truck) I have ever owned (and likely ever will).
