New Tires 21" OEM wheels question
My new base Cayenne came with Pirelli Scorpion Verde tires (not plus) when I bought it with 21" wheels.
Wheel sizes are 285/40-21 and 315/35-21 rears. Seems like there are only 2 tires that fit this car, P-zero and the Verde's. I was hoping to eventually put on Continental DWS06's since i live in a winter climate. Anyone else find it odd to only have one all-season tire available?

This is because this is the first time Cayennes are coming with a staggered setup and Porsche decided to pick unique sizes. Previous Cayennes used 295/35/21 and those are very common SUV size. It may be this way for a while unless another car manufacturer uses these new sizes.

There are some more options in Europe already from Michelin and Bridgestone. Not sure why they are not yet shipped to North America. But they most likely will be here soon. I'm not a fan of the Pirelli options either.

I'm also not a fan of the Pirelli options. I can never seem to get more than 25k miles out of them before the get noisy and bumpy. And the tread seems to wear faster than others.

Hopefully Michelin Pilot 4s come out soon!!

Also disappointed by the current tire options

Just bought (not leased) a 2019 Cayenne base with 21's. Anyone have a rough idea how many miles before a new set? Driving mostly streets and highway in CA, about 15k miles per year. Hoping more options come out when I need a new set. Not daunted by the prices, but daunted by the limited brand options.

Porsche rated summer rubber is soft. I would 15-20K is right for the 21s. Maybe squeak 22K.

100 percent correct. Summers are soft and sticky by design — I’ve had a number of performance cars with them. None crossed the 25K threshold, particularly those with staggered tires. Best I got with that setup is 24K on the rears with a set of OEM Potenza RE050s. And they were deep into the wear bars.
I expect (hope?) to roll 30K on our Turbo’s. Pirellis. Maybe I’m naive. What I do believe from experience is that they will last 33 percent longer than the equivalent summer tire.

On your Turbo do you also have Pirelli Scorpion Verde "All Season".....that is what I have on mine. I was surprised by All Season expecting summer performance tires
The tires are V rated ...up to 150mph

I have the Pirelli Scorpion All Seasons on my Turbo. Summer tires are a no cost option. I wanted all seasons due to living in the NE. Hoping that there are more options down the road.

Same tires here. When we picked up our Turbo, our SA ribbed me a little about the do-not-exceed-150-mph sticker to the left of the ignition key.
”Slowest Turbo I’ve ever sold!” he said, then pointed to the V-rated Pirellis.
The bad news is we won’t be confirming AutoTopNL’s YouTube video showing a 2019 Turbo hitting 192 mph on the Autobahn anytime soon. Meaning ever. The good news is my wife has felt much more comfortable driving to work this week, with unusually cold temps that’ve barely gotten out of the 20s during the day. We had a G37S and our current SS with pure summers. Those cars sucked when the tires turned to rocks as it got below freezing. Wouldn’t even let her drive them.

I was at my dealer yesterday and noticed a Cayenne with 21s that had Bridgestones on it. I was surprised and even took a pic...they were Dueler H/P Sport.
Mine has the all season Pirellis and I'm hoping for a Michelin option by the time I have to replace them.
